Eh, I'm darker than her, but not nearly as dark as I am in these shots.
The miracle of make-up... Lol
But, as a cosplayer it's a needed skill to be able to adjust your skin tone from lighter to darker.
I have many cosplays where I make myself paler than my actual skin tone, too. >__> There are only a couple where I use my true skintone.
But, I have a very off tone due to being very mixed. xD

I also cosplay as Edward and Jasper. For them, I lighten my skin tone about 4-5 shades. xDD
For Jake, I darken it about 6-7.

xD That's because Jasper is awesome. (Is also a huge Jasper fan)
But, no. I really can't claim to be an expert. I just do my best and that's all I can really say. Lol
I do practice alot...but, that's all. xD
I enjoy cosplay. It's my fav hobby.

Believe me, anyone can cosplay as long as they put the effort and love into it that they would any other hobby.

I could make that excuse too...but, I enjoy it far too much to.
Thing is, cosplay, if you don't do it as much as my wife and I, is totally something you can do on the weekend.
But, I know for a fact cosplay is something anyone can do with a little practice.
