Description A scene out of my imagination, inspired by The Sight by David Clement-Davies (although possibly this pictures Huttser and Palla running through the snowstorm at the beginning of the book): Two wolf siblings are fleeing from humans, who are taking over their homeland, and the more rebellious one gets fed up with constantly running away and stops, considering his pride and whether he should perhaps simply fight back, although that would probably mean death. His sister sees him having stopped and will spend the next moments trying to talk some sense into him.

"What are you doing?"
"Facing them. I can't stand it any longer."
"Don't you understand? We can't face them. There are too many of them."
"That's what all wolves think. If we all stood up to them together..."
"...There would still be too many of them! Why can't you understand? They always win. Always.
Please. We have to run. Please."
The wolf didn't answer, his fangs baring at the sight of birds flying up behind them, announcing the arrival of the enemy. Then, he turned around and fled, following his sister's tracks. The two wolves continued their blind, mindless race through the snow, simply seeking to put as much distance as possible between them and the enemy.

It's always a pleasure to find good fanart for The Sight. There seems to be an unfortunate lack of it for such a fantastic book. Love the perspective, and the way that the background colours are faded out. It gives a great atmospheric illusion of depth. Gorgeous work!

Wow, this is another impressive piece! A few pointers I noticed in here:
- The front wolf looks like he's about to topple over! I think you've positioned the feet slightly too far down-right.
- The back wolf looks a little fat. Is she meant to be pregnant?
- There aren't as many tracks behind the she-wolf as there should be, which makes it look like there aren't any at all until you look closely around the male wolf's coat.

Otherwise, I'm really impressed with your drawing of the female wolf, and the whole picture in general!

Thanks for the comments, and the critique! The poses are much less than perfect, I know.

As for the back wolf being pregnat....
She's not *supposed* to be pregnant, but in the scene that this was inspired from, she *is* pregnant... weird, I just noticed. o_O
