Thank you~ The standard warriors attire for his village is what Juko [link] is wearing, But Rintaro has a talent for crafting clothes and he crafted the Armour himself, as for the overall design of course he needed something light weight and easy to run in, plus he studies Kunoichi and uses he's feminine appeal to distract he's targets.

Prismacolor for the fur and eyes, sharpie for he's boots, gauntlets, and shirt. I used a white color pencil to give the leather pieces a shine~ ^^

And if you plan on getting the pencils, I'd go ahead and purchase some Bristol paper while your at it, it's really good for final projects and etc. ^^

lol late response XD yea i got me some prismacolor pencils, but they arent colored pencils lol. how ironic. anyways I'm practicing with those. im going to look into the colored pencils when im ready, but i do have an interesting question for you. Every time i color my lineart, i always end up mixing the lead from the lines into the color, darkening it and making it look unprofessional. Do you take steps to get around that?

KazukioRedpanda In reply to ForerunnerConstruct [2013-07-10 00:29:27 +0000 UTC]

When I draw I take three step, The sketch, inking and coloring. When the inking is done I erase getting rid of the lead/pencil markings. If you want to make your lines look darker and more professional use an ink pen like a Foray Stylemark at 0.5 or a fine point sharpie pen, Using ink to out line your work is good and it wont mix with your colors. But make sure to wait for the ink to dry.. >w<
