lots of practice. bob ross videos are a great way to learn how to paint waves and then just expand from there

Lovely. I like how the water is so green in the foreground but takes on the sunset colors in the background.

its my favorite thing to paint. and thanks about the comment, that was fun to do and a bit hard but im very proud of the result. i love how depending on the color you paint the water it changes the location of the scene dramatically too.
