recently started getting into FMA.. the brotherhood series that is..Ed's a pretty cool dude.. with his pen-knife arm and his soup ladle leg
so i thought i would do some fanart of hims
i based this picture off a part in the opening where ed's just wondering around a field thinking why there's a camera looking at him.. so he decides to scare the camera away by putting his hands up to it..
but i got a bit frustrated on this one.. i'm not gonna tell you where i messed up on though..

i've only watched first episode of brotherhood (watched the whole other FMA anime ), and i got a bit disapointed actually >.< lots of the characters voices are switched out to others and the first episode of "brotherhood" does'nt even excist in the manga.. i guess that they can't do another first episode that just looks alike the first FMA anime, though "brotherhood" is supposed to follow the manga.. =/ i should'nt say more til i watch the whole thing but i just can't keep my mouth shut since FMA is one of my most favorite manga

yes.. the first episode doesn't follow the manga at all.. it's complete filler.. but the rest sticks to the manga.. but at a faster pace compared to the old series..
i haven't watched the orginal yet or have read FMA
but what i don't get about brotherhood, is that the series is only going to be 13 episodes long
apparently.. :/
i thought it would be at least 26 episodes or something like that..

but it's seems they are going through it very quickly since the 7th episode in brotherhood is based off episodes 19-20 in the orginal anime

it is very good it's new season, but i'll have to watch the old one at some point so i can compare where they'd changed it..
i love this opening too.. all FMA opening are good.. but my favourite one has to be the 4th song from the first series.. ^^

Aww, Edward Elric, bless. I like that it actually looks windy, so many people do a bad job of representing that properly.
You should definitely watch the original anime though, I know it ignored the plot of the manga almost completely but it's still a good story in itself and worth knowing.

26 episodes? It's supposed to be following the manga so I very much doubt it, that thing isn't even finished yet.
I guess you could watch the first series of Brotherhood, then the original two series, and then watch the rest of Brotherhood once it's finished... although that might get confusing.
