I watched it, and also bought the original novel that Mamoru Hosoda wrote. It is all in all a 9/10 in my scoring.
Only thing that i did not like is the ending, it felt awfully rushed, unlike the clean-cut ending he had for summer wars.
Also i am writing a Discussion Journal on Hybrid-human life based on this movie, Because the topic of Genetically-modified life forms is becoming a larger topic these days, and I want people to be aware that events in the movie maybe happening in the next century.

1: Awwwn so cute~!! x33 I wish there were more sister/brotherly moments like these, that would've been so cute~!! <33
2: Wow! I went to the premiere of this movie in Japan, which was 21 July... but you saw the whole movie a whole month earlier?! OoO EEEEEEH!!! I didn't know that was even possible! So jealous, it must have been fun, also because of the audience (the audience in Japan is quite boring) and the presence of Hosada-san! As to be expected from France ^^ for some reason they are very enthousiastic about manga/anime. It's kind of strange, from the point you leave France and enter neighbourcountry Spain, there is no single manga pocket to be found... xD Was there only one world preview? I live in the Netherlands so France is not that far away..... but I didn't know about this movie until I saw the tons of advertising when I arrived in Japan O_o
3: When I bought the soundtrack of this movie, I got a poster (the kind you see in stores for advertising). I haven't seen any other posters besides that one when I was in Japan. What kind of poster did you get? x33 Is it a different one?

Your brother wants to fight with you? xD Like, fist to fist? >.<
Yeah xD I once saw a video of a French audience watching a Naruto movie. When one of the characters scattered the ground with a punch, everyone was screaming and whistling 'WOOOOO'!!! When another character got punched in the wall, lots of laughter xDD Ohh I really want to watch a movie with a french audience once! ^^
Yes, the japanese audience isn't very interesting TvT While watching Ookami no kodomo, the only moment when the audience made a sound was the scene where Hana didn't know if wether she had to go to the vet or the hospital for her ill Yuki (there was some decent laughter) I was expecting some sobbing sounds at the sad scenes, but I didn't hear any sob! Only from my mother next to me TvT
The second manga reader country?! EEEH! Awesome! xD And what?! Y-y-you have J-Japan Expo?!! Wow! >v< If this goes on, maybe you'll even have comiket one day! x33
The poster you got is almost the same as mine! ^^ However, I didn't get any signature or King Kazuma!! Who drew that King Kazuma?? >w<

Oh ok xD
Comic-con! I'm so jealous!! Dx In my country we have I think.. 3 or 4 anime/manga cons a year.. and that's it! It's better than nothing though =w=
Really? That's awesome!! Did you see all of his movies? And which do you think is best? :3

Could it be your friends live in Spain? xD I sometimes forget how great the internet is ^^ You can buy things from over the net too... but I never do that because I don't know how it works >.< It would be so much more safe and easier and fun if you could just go shopping.. The first time I shopped myself totally broke was this year in Akihabara. Never had that much fun in Akihabara before (because my favorite anime is extremely popular in Japan right now, so there's goods EVERYWHERE xDDD)
I've seen the Digimon movie that looks a lot like Summer wars <3 The monster that becomes more and more powerful, the virtual world design, the main protagonists panickactions and the help of people worldwide in the end.. it's all the same xDD I think the difference is that Summer wars has those avatars (which I prefer over the digimons btw) Luv Kazma xD Maybe because one of my favorite characters is called 'Bunny' and because I own a bunny at home <3
It's kind of difficult to say... Watching a movie in a cinema on a big screen and without any disturbances works better.. When I got back home again I turned on the PC and after hesitating a little I first watched Toki wo kakeru shoujo, and right after that I watched summer wars, while eating a dinner =w= Maybe I rushed things too much... It could also be that I was expecting much or less from the movies, due to reviews (one claimed that Tokikake is absolutely the best, the other says it was rushed in the end. Some other review said summer wars is the best, the other one called it SHIT) =v= Maybe I shouldn't have read those reviews.. One problem I had with toki wo kakeru shoujo is that the time leaping didn't have many new surprizes for me... It's because I have recently watched
Madoka Magica which involves time travelling, and Steins Gate, which is ALL about time travelling =w= Still, it was a fun movie to watch ^^ I had the feeling that I should have teared up at the end, but I didnβt.. did I miss something? Maybe Makotoβs feelings for Chiaki was too sudden, that I didnβt really got the time to feel something for them as a couple.. Which is kind of a shame.. About summer wars, I really liked the mood ^^ Traditional Japanese house with lots of cheery people xD And I thought that the virtual world was very interesting (The digimon virtual world looks like it too, but because there were no talking avatars, it was very empty) And the avatars were so cute xD
I think I like the wolf children the most after all. I really like how they took the wolf thing very seriously (unlike many werewolf stories, though ame and yuki are not quite werewolves) And the sob moments were just too amazing TT^TT And now Iβm obsessed with the soundtrack!
Wow, sorry for the long comment Dx
