Roxy is a mixed race girl (black father, white mother) her family took Operation Lifeboat and the her four brothers and father became gears but all were killed, her mother was also killed in a Locust raid. she took her brother's lancer and took up arms, because she had no choice. she wonders Tyrus staying with whomever will have her. she hates the COG because as far as she is concerned her family trusted them to protect them, and they failed. if it comes to a fight against locust, she will fight with gears, but she isn't going to trust them again.
