Description
An Imperial German piece of propaganda posted around the Ottoman Empire in areas with a high German national presence. Playing primarily off of the theft of the Sultan Osman I, it is encouraging the Ottoman entry in the war through joining the Central Powers.From Behemoth , by Scott Westerfeld.

This is an alternate universe, where you can tell what a country's allegiance is by the technology they utilize... for the most part. The Ottomans were a special case, in between the two, but leaning more toward the mechs than the beasts (and had more german military presence there than in our Great War). Istanbul is the main location of the second book, Behemoth.

In the book that poster came from, the British and russians have Biological weaponry and transportation, while Germany and the ottoman empire have machines of diesel and coal.
