Tales of Graces f.... I did not like this game. At all. I tried, I really did, but ugh.I did however struggle through a good 30 hours of play time before finally just calling it quits. Figured those 30 hours deserved a drawing as tribute T-T
I do like how this turned out! I haven't really drawn long hair before. It was interesting!
Focus:
-Character interaction
-Side poses
-Basic background (rather than just blank)
What I learned:
+A bit about long hair
+I have a better appreciation for multiple characters
+New shading trick
(Asbel? Richard? Just kiss already.)

Looks great as!! Richard looks absolutely amazing side on.
Also, you didn't like Tales of Graces!? What didn't you like about if I can ask? I'm playing it now, and love it (I don't understand what's bad about it)
Anyhow, I really like the backgroundsplotches of colour. Also the interlocking arms pose is awesome!!

What didn't I like about it...
I thought the characters were really bland, and mostly just annoying. (The voice acting was also quite low quality.)
The story was totally dull and uninteresting to me, andΒ I wasn't a fan of the animation style either... The battles seemed sloppy and awkward as well.
I guess I just didn't end up caring about the characters and the universe as much as I needed to in order to like the game.
I guess the next question would be "what did I like about it?"
To which my answer is, unfortunately, nothing really.
Of course, this is all my opinion. You are totally allowed to like it haha! It just wasn't my cup of tea!

I'm just genuinely interested to find out why so many people hate it. I gotta say though, all your points are valid.
okay, so what I don't like about it...
1. Richard-ex-machina: Richard shows up after you've done lots of stuff, ruins all your work, then flies away (So far its happened 5 times)
2. Characters: Yeah, I can agree to some of the bland aspects of characters (Sorry Cheria and Malik)
3. Game mechanics and animation: Not as crisp as some others, but not bad either.
What I did like...
1. Story: Not one of the greatest Tales stories, but I still liked it. I especially liked the first part where everything just looked so grim for Asbel. I also liked the mystery behind Sophie. Also, it may be a bit corny, but I did actually like the whole friendship is ultimate thing.
2. Characters (again): I thought Sophie, Hubert and Pascal had great personalities and made for some really funny skits. I loved Pascal's quirkiness, I liked Hubert's torn behaviour, and I thought Sophie was just super adorable in everything she did.
3. Character design: Everyone's designs looked stunning and really energetic and characteristic. In particular, Asbel looks simply awesome.
4. Landscape: SO BRIGHT AND COLOURFUL!! (The last Tale game I played was Xillia 2, so I may be a bit biased with this)
5. Combat: For some reason, it just seemed a lot easier for me to understand and get alright at
6. Asbel: He may be your typical friendship is amazing protagonist, but his goals seemed quite reasonable throughout the whole way.
So Yeah, There's my yelling done!! Haha, but yeah, that's my opinion. Thanks again!!

I actually do agree with you that Pascal was kind of interesting. I did like her the best.
Personally, I'm a fan of darker, edgier kind of stories. Xillia 2, for example, was a game that I really loved! Or Twilight Princess from the Zelda series.
But now that I have heard what you think about Tales of Graces, I can see why there are people who quite like it!

I really like it, but I don't really like the profile face style...I'm not saying dat I don't like the draw, but I don't like the nose profile style, I usually do the "Long " nose profile face style xD
