I kind of promised teegee to get this done by the end of the week. About a month ago.40k version of TF2.
From left to right:
Sororita (Pyro), Techpriest (Engie), Callidus (Spy), Devastator (Heavy), Vindicare (Sniper), Ogryn (Soldier), Eversor (Scout), Guardsman (Demo), Biomancer (Medic).

Personally I'd switch ogryn and space marine around. I feel that an ogryn would fit as heavy better because of his personality and the ogryn's low intelligence. Plus as far as I know, ogryn aren't exactly fast, at least in comparison to a space marine, who would probably be faster than a human if he wasn't wearing power armor.
Space marine would do better as soldier, since he'd be more mobile while still being tough, plus soldier is generally better than heavy at close range, which fits the space marine's more rounded skill set, along with him being focused on serving the imperium, like soldier is to America, although it depends on the chapter on how much devotion they show.
Although to be honest I'd rather have a space marine be demoman, since he is the best melee class in the game, and a commissar as soldier, both being completely obsessed with their respective nation.
Guardsmen would be the tenth class, civilian, which would probably revolve on dying a lot.
But that's just what I think, otherwise I like the other class ideas.

I can not help but re-imagine the "Meet the ***""-series with these... The "professionals have standards"-line fits the Vindicare perfectly, and a Devastator as Heavy and a Techpriest-as-Engineer are naturals, but the Callidus-as-spy's seduction of the Eversor-as-Scout's mother..... That is Extra-Heretic in both Universes!
