If there was only two Christmas TV Special that I love the best, it's "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "The Year Without A Santa Claus."My most favorite scene in Rudolph, that has always been my favorite as a kid was the Island of Misfit Toys.
Cause the flawness of the toys actually makes them better and unique then the toys with no flaws (at least in my opinion).
And the toys were all so cute (much cuter then the toys from "Raggedy Ann and Andy's Musical Adventure" ), I wanted to take home a few of them.^^
These toys right here have always been my favorites:
*Charlie in the Box (he sounded a bit like the Mad Hatter from Disney's "Alice in Wonderland" )
*The Little Blue Plane
*Dolly
*The Spotted Elephant
The closest thing I got to have a few of the toys were the plush ornaments of Dolly and the Blue Plane, and I have an action-figure of King Moonracer, the flying lion ruler of the Island of Misfit Toys.

I always thought a polka-dotted elephant would make a great present, but I could never figure out what was wrong with the doll?

That's one of those questions that were never answered (about why Dolly is a Misfit Toy).

They might be misfit toys, but they're adorable! I would've loved to have the elephant or the doll,because I always thought they were the cutest!

Aww, cute! My favorite Misfit Toy is the Dolly.
I also liked Hermey the dentist and his girlfriend (who was the girl elf he danced with at the end of the movie). They were so cute together. Just like Rudolph and Clariece!
By the way, I have the plush Rudolph and Clarice dolls from Build-a-Bear Workshop.

I never quite understood what made Dolly a "misfit". Maybe her dress is on backwards?

I think it's cause her pigtails are wrong.
I know the plane's a misfit cause his face on the side. Usually if toy planes have faces their faces are located on parts of the plane people mostly look at, like at the front end where the perpeler (?) is the plane's nose, not at the bottom-side.

Nice recreation of the Misfit Toys. Personally, my favourites of the Misfit Toys are...
1.The train with square wheels on his kaboose.
2.The cowboy riding on an ostrich.
3.The gun that shoots jelly.
4.The swimming bird.
