Not such a foolish choice you know, considering Westerosi Winters last for years and years, with the food from summer gradually running out and the people reduced to cannibalism and eating their boots. Fat Walda's on track to be a survivor.

Reminds of this story of this Mormon ancestor of mine who had two wives. The skinny wife was very sickly and had trouble bearing children but the fat one was more healthy and had so many kids that she let the skinny wife adopt one of them.

She could go through Winter but could she survive Manderly's killing rage? Being a Frey/Bolton is not the perfect combination not to finish in a pie (which would be a hilarious fate for her haha). Except if Manderly recognises his soul mate in Fat Walda... They could eat pies all Winter together.
