Great use of lighting! Rembrandt would approve.
You also made Ghost fierce and adorable at the same time, as he should be.

Oh my goodness! I saw the thumbnail and my mouth dropped open, and it's even more amazing full-sized. I can't believe you actually commented on my fanart. This is awesome! So detailed and dramatic. I especially love the shadows.
Git 'er, Ghost.

Arf! It was a complete nightmare to draw - I can't believe I spent nearly 4 months painting this (in bits and bobs) all for the sake of cracking an obscure art history joke.

Wtf, how did I miss this? That's what happens when I don't watch wicked artists like you.
The level of detail and variation in it is amazing, I can totally appreciate the hours and hours it must have took. I salute you!

I'm pleased with the faces, but I rather lost it on the clothes (it was taking so long it got tiresome.)
I'm hoping I can get away with it by claiming it's like the orginal - ie really dark!

I dunno, there must be someone in the Night's Watch with a bit of Lann in them.

That picture is great.
I like Jon's expression and Ghost's at that.
(They pretty much show how I feel about Mel. ^^)
It's interesting how Mel and Stannis stand out among the brothers. But still Mel gets all the focus. That totally represents the situation in the story.

I really wanted Mel to be glowing red amidst all the black, and Stannis was perfect to be standing on the sidelines, no one wants you for their king.
This was a nightmare pic to do, from complexity, but fun too (replacing the shining girl in the original with shining white Ghost.)

I didn't know the original. But looking at the link I have to say that you did a great job. ^^

I'm utterly shocked no one has done this before, such as one of the professional painter dudes for asoiaf, it was one of those spoofs that had to be done. Having said that, it was an utter 'mare to do with all those people, I ended up using portraits of various chums (harder than you might think, as I needed chums pulling faces.) And Rembrambt-style, I put myself in there. (Twice in fact, but not from ego - more that I needed more face pulling.)
It is indeed Stannis, this is supposed to be the spoiler scene from Dance with Dragons. Althought I can't remember if he's actually in that scene at the time of Mel grabbing at Jon - it just looked good to put him in.

Well just think- now when a fancy-pants "professional artist" spoofs the painting, you can point, nod knowingly and say "I did it first. Me. Dibs. All me."

WOW! That is fucking sweet! Lol, I love Jon's expression and the colour scheme you used for Mel. And if I'm allowed to say this, you've gotten better (from what I've seen)
