That one day when I ran around in a Link cosplay at school (we had a "childhood heroes" motto day, don't ask), I feared they'd either not recognize me or - which is much worse - call me Zelda. Next to nobody in my own year seemed to know who I was - but the little kids did. I had a fifth grader shout "Hi Link!" after me... Felt good. x)
Oh, and p.s.: A good friend of mine was one of the countless Luigis running around. We only had one Mario more than Luigis, I guess that's not bad.
