He had the choice though and was not only Ρredetermination which supposed him to be the Savior - He chose the thorns..
Just had to say it - the description puzzled me little (maybe I'm not getting it right) and the picture moved me. But again, it's very beautiful, congratulations

I really like this work, the colors and the story it tells me. I see a little boy with a crown of thorns in one hand. He looks at his other hand, his bleeding finger, in amazement, not in pain. And it's like a light comes out of it. It has a strong religious touch, but in a very subtle way. This work makes me see things differently...

It's like being hit in the stomach....taking all the breath out of me. In total awe of the message this could so easily convey! It could so easily been titled "A Birthday Gift".
I am awestruck and enamored in this image. And all the while it brings tears to my eyes and makes me want to scream, "Take it away!"
I don't know if I read more into this image than what it is meant to portray, but it is vitally moving to my soul, and I shall keep this image forever in my mind, especially so during this time of the year when it has the most impact to me.
