This one could have come out better ( too... blurry... ). In my defense, my hands are like crap right now, so drawing's a bit on the uncomfortable side. Swollen fingers suck.That aside, who doesn't remember the Sonic 2 special stages, those mad levels where Tails would always practically home into the bombs and lose you your rings ( or in 2 player mode, degenerate into a fit of trying to jump over one another to get to the front ). Ah, memories. XD

When I played Sonic 2 on Genesis, my sister played as Tails and we managed to get the emeralds by the end of Emerald Hill.

This brings back memories. Though my sisters had the same tick for being in front all the time, I didn't really care because they would hit the bombs first! XD Then again I used to hate it when they would hog all the rings! But aside from that, teamwork is the key to get all the chaos emeralds!

If it's even possible to get all 7 with a CPU Tails at your side, I don't think I've ever done it.

YES! Someone who understands. Tails fucks it up. A true sonic fan knows that he can collect all the emerald in Emerald Hill and then proceed to Chemical Plant with the ability to transform. Just hit the lampposts in order.
and yes, it is possible to get all 7 with Tails. The computer just has to have maybe like 5 or less rings. I've done it a few times, it's not really hard to accomplish.

Ha, some of my favorite memories are of mastering using both Sonic and Tails... or doing the whole "I'm in front. No, I'm in front" game with my little brother and seeing if we could still beat the stages.

Personally I loved seeing Tails follow me as I scrambled through those beautifully designed stages, But yes it was annoying to lose rings because of the lag between your move and Tails.
