During my freshman year in college, I pledged Beta Theta Pi fraternity. There were four of us in my pledge class. We had a lock-in, and one of our tasks was to come up with fraternity nicknames for each other without the individual's input. So my fellow pledges chose "Figaro" for me to represent my love of music (Mozart's "Marriage of Figaro" and the famous line from Rossini's "Barber of Seville") and animation (Figaro the cat from "Pinocchio"). I loved it and decided to keep it.

I love his musculature here! Nice jaw shape as well, he looks hella more manly than in the show. haha. The folds in his shirt look pretty good, although his pants lack the same realism. They seem a bit odd, like blown clay. Specially around the crotch area. Not that I was lookin' >-> <-<
Perhaps look up reference of a mix between hakama and martial arts pants. The crotch area in dbz pants seems to be based off hakama, but they lack the open sides and long front...I honestly dont know what they are.

I hear Ya. I actually used a Piccolo 9 inch figure for refrence on the pants but scince iy was a battle damaged piccolo I had to wing it on the shirt and try to fill in gaps on the pants. prob should have just winged the pants too.

It's cool, I'm using Prismacolor pen liners, I just wasn't properly schooled in how to use them, so they've been shakey and porous

I use Microns, from 00.5, 1.0, 2.0, all the way up to 8.0 also u can get brush tips which is good for big areas

My pens come in 005, 1, 3, 5, and 8, and I've attempted to use a brush pen for the outlines on the foreground characters, but I never got the hang of using it with consistency

Prismacolors are good, I tend to use the brush tips in prismacolors but u will sometimes find diffrent consistencies. I use Staedtler more than micron, Staedtler go from 00.5 all the way to 8.0. u can get 2.0 and a 7.0 which can give u more variety. also try using the 8.0 or the 7.0 for the outlines. It will give u better control. Really u should get some from each brand and see what feels best to u.
