Description
One of my best selling prints was based on a Walt Disney World attraction called "Journey into Imagination." The ride was based on a whimsical fellow called the Dreamfinder and his mischievous and curious dragon, Figment. So this is a marker drawing of Figment and Dreamfinder that I performed upon commission. It's interesting to see the change in style from 2011 to today - May of 2015. Onward and upward.
Copics, colored pencils, and watercolor on 100b Bristol.
Also, I want to send acknowledgements to artist John Tyler Christopher, whose design sense I borrowed heavily from in this piece... although I've tried apply my own sensibilities to it.

It's not quite as good as I'd have hoped, but it has that Walt's EPCOT feel to it... a little preachy, but overall inspiring.

I went to the early first showing at my local theater.

From what I understand from cast members working Imagination, the Dreamfinder set is still there, since facades were built in front to accommodate the newer ride. If that is true, then it wouldn't take a lot to reopen it!
