It's sort of a pain. Too bad I can't show you because it would make a lot more sense then. Once you've scanned the two sections (or however many you have) open the first scan. Then enlarge the canvas (not the scan itself). Open the other scan then drag and drop it on the first one while lining everything up. Then try to adjust the brightness, contrast with each section. Of course that's the tough part. Once you get it really close then save the merged image. Re-open the saved image and use your clone option to blend the merge line. Sometimes it works well and sometimes not.
It's a good idea when you initially scan each section, to leave plenty of overlap which can be cropped. Those areas along the edges of the scan are where a lot of the problems arise. If you can crop those areas completely out before merging all sections together it'll really help.

You're welcome. I'm not very good at explaining things but I'm glad you got a little something from it. I'm working on a pretty large drawing of Eurofighter (jet airplane). I'm not looking forward to scanning that one. It'll have to be scanned in at least three sections.

I am fine. I must admit I don't have much time for the web except for 8 hours a day but that is my job 
I'd like to come back to AP and comment but it's really so time consuming, sometimes posts are so long that I really find it difficult to understand everything that is written and then reply.
Then, if I started a new drawing and posted it there, people would probably think that I'm coming back just to show my stuff and not to support other artists around.
I'm just trying to dedicate my time after work to University books and paint. I'm trying to see if I can do some nice paintings too, but I'm not gonna show them before I find "my own style" eh eh eh.. just experimenting right now

sounds like you are busy busy but hey...nobody at ap would ever think that. I was away for 9 months and just miss the people they enjoy watching draw especially wips and yours are one of a kind my friend. Come by when you have the chance. I know we would all love to hear from you. Till then....
