This is based on an assignment I've had for an online class about advertisement, we had to come up with the poster for a film, we had to take pictures online and piece it all together into a poster that follows some of the stuff the teach told us, like the orange/blue contrast in many modern posters, and I picked red/blue instead.

My poster, for a film called L'Ottavo Sigillo ("The Eighth Seal") would've been about a badass preacher figure dealing with Nyarlathotep, who is about to unleash his own secret apocalypse in my home town of Thiene (yes, I used the city where I currently live as a setting LOL here's the same city centre in my Halloween photo: [link] ), there's Seven Seals to the apocalypse so the hero is aware there's a secret Eighth one which was established by Nyarlathotep and the last one that needs to be unlocked in order to doom everything. The protagonist is prepared, and even friggin set up Serilo's bell tower to blast some sky beam that seems to be doing some magic that repels evil.

LOL Just some derivative shlock overall, but it was still fun to come up with a story and imagine the town I live in and grew up in being used for the filming location of such over the top imaginary flick.
My town has a castle so it'd be a neat setting tho, harkening to some sort of Medieval story of a knight duking it out with a monster that threatens a kingdom. Eh, that's just me I guess.

The teacher liked my work saying it does a good job being a throwback to the type of posters they'd make for a Lucio Fulci or a Dario Argento horror flick. If I had more time I would've made it prettier, so here I'm like "I'll just redraw everything and make it EXACTLY as I envisioned it" so here we are. Took some time but it was worth it.
