Copa de Vida
On cloth with colored pencils and pastels.

This is not an original piece. I found this in a magazine and I loved it when I saw it. I had just arrived on death row and I was thinking how cool it was and how much like me this churub angel is. Loving life and laughing and jocking with a glass of wine. Living the vida loca... Le dulce vida.. hahaha !! I love that !! I love the idea of that, so I took it and drew it on cloth, and made it into my idea of a young one that loves the life it leads. Wishing at the same time that I had this cup of life to drink from and I could be granted that eternal life as he has. To drink and laugh and be merry. What more could be wanted from life ?? Nothing that I could think. Of course thats easy to say that here where you're living from day to day... And never trully knowing what your end will come to... But I think that's a wonderful life to have. The idea of it has filled me with much laughter every time I look at this angel. Ahahah ! The look of joy in its eyes... man !! I wish I knew the name of the artist that originaly drew it... But alas I didn't see it. No matter I give you credit for a wonderful concept my friend who ever you are !!
