You know what's funny, this kind of reminds me of my first painting assignment last term. I didn' thave to paint it, but I had to paint ON someone elses painting. It was ladies in a field and I turned them into donkeys, but yea. This just reminded me of that. lol

Hey you, long time no comment. So sorry about that- I've been so ridiculously busy.
You know what I think of your painting already. Your use of color is always so lovely, and your shading could use a little work, though as it's with oils, that's forgiveable. The composition of this painting is so great, and the uplifting natural setting is a great choice for subject.

Whoa, what a brilliant landscape. You've managed to make the green areas very lively with warm and cool tones. Very atmospheric. I also like the amount of detail in this one - there might even be too much detail in the distance, but it gives a really cool effect.

The distance, yes I know what you mean. I think the lack of distance has to do more with the colors I picked than the amount of detail
