Hello thar!I liked the doodle I did of Fen [link] so I decided to paint it up. Not that I painted over it or anything, this is done on a whole separate canvas board, but you know what I mean. Nairy a pencil was used, ho hum. It's aaaall in the paint brushes, baby.
But yeh. I prefer this one to the doodle, which is good, because I spent a lot more time on it :3
Also, I painted this whilst listening to The Dark Knight soundtrack. Yes, I'm obsessed. I'm also going to watch it again in less than an hour! *omg*
Anyhoo, thank you for looking, and reading my rambles.
Don't steal Fen, he's mine! I reckon I'm gonna get all the pics of him through the years (he's over 4 years old now
) and do a time-line/evolution thing. BECAUSE I'M SAD LIKE THAT.Bai!

Woo awesome. I love the color palette you chose to use... Very sunset/hell-ish. Plus the textures of the paint itself make it look very... I dunno, illustrator-esque? Awesome work, as always.

I love painting on canvas just for the texture... otherwise it'd be paper, all day every day. I'm glad you noticed the colours, I didn't want to make it too obvious but I wanted a fiery feeling for the background n.n

Yea I found two old boards I might have a splash at. I bet it'll be some kind of castle/rock thing cause you can make a mess and refine it into something decent
