This is a contest entry to 's contest.
Had to draw my favorite eeveelution. ;D
I choose'd Leafeon.
Yeah, yeah, it's not in it's original style. But I can't draw cutsie things :3 So I stuck to drawing it in my style instead.
I hope that counts.
If not ^^ Oh well. I tried and I had fun.
AGAIN, I tried REALLYREALLYREALLY hard on the background. I like this one better than the Pumagazabat picture, though.

Honestly, I think this is one of the best one's that are listed on Lil Vee's contest entries. I liked that you used your own style. That's what makes a true artist. Keep it up.

I like the texture you gave the fur, and overall it's a nice realistic representation. The ears are a bit small though, and the legs look a little stiff and straight. As for the background, if you went back and erased around the tips of the grass/leaves to make them pointy, it'd make them that much more natural-looking.

I made the ears smaller because I wanted it to look a little more realistic but I completely agree with the stiffness of the legs you mentioned. I've been trying to work on making my drawings more dynamic and fluid (aaaand totally failing at it ;D).
XD I really suck at backgrounds so I just tried to throw something in there.

No problem. As for the poses, you could find photos of animals to practice the poses of, or draw your cat or dog (or the neighbors' if you don't have pets).
