This is a replica of link's bow from the game Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. It's part of a costume i made for a friend that wanted to dress up as dark link. It used to be a toy bow i purchased at a party favors shop.you can purchase it here: [link]

aww! well I did make dark Links outfit it came out better than all the other cosplay costumes I have done since I got better with the sewing machine

Dude, I am so friggin jealous. Link's recurve bow is my personal favorite. And coupling the bow with Dark Link sounds awesome. I'd love to see pics of that. You have my respect: wield it with pride.

Lol you know, when it was finished none of my best friends or myself could stop using it and firing away the arrows at random objects. IT works pretty well and the arrows go into a nice distance for being a prop. I had loads of fun making it

At what convention will you be unveiling your work?
I am surprized that the prop had that much potential. I was actually considering crafting a replica of the default quiver Link gets in TP. You gotta love the Scythian composite bow, as I believe Link's bow was probably modeled after it.

Lol i gave the dark link costume to my best friend but she likes to let it rest in my closet (feels it's safer with the it's creator lol). We used it a couple of times in different comicons here in Puerto Rico or in Halloween party's. It's always a crowd stopper lol. I loled at the part were you speak of the the Scythian composite bow that's practically what i used as a skeleton to make it a toy version of these types of bows so I'm very much sure your very accurate about it's concept origin.

hahaha *shows her a random collection of whips for different types of peoples* So yah im pro lol's i helped out a friend make a real bow once but he had the money and tools and it came out pretty cool was an elven themed bow
