Kira.(God of the new world)
(Why wasn't it flipped like the other one? Because Yagami Raito/Light and Kira are simply two different personalities and not two different people.)
The 'dark' version of Yagami Raito A.K.A. Kira. Though I'm once again not fully satisfied with the background, I do love the way the message to L turned out ^_^
With his name I tried a different approach, the letters are supposed to be innocent-looking to represent the way most people in the Death Note series regarded Kira. Behind the 'sparkly' letters I added a shadow which seems more sinister in an attempt to portray the way anti-Kira characters regard the 'God of the new world'. The jagged lines are more or less supposed to represent pen strokes X3
Once again, this is not just a recoloured copy of the original picture. Don't believe it? Take a closer look at the way his arm and head are positioned. Kira's body was given a much more closed off position by moving his head and hand closer to one another. Also, his grip on the apple has been made more firm.
Why? Simple really, Yagami Raito/Light has a more open personality than Kira. Kira lies and betrays as he sees fit while Yagami Raito/Light doesn't have anything to hide and could be considered to be more gentle than Kira. Therefore his stance is more open and relaxed while Kira's is more guarded and forceful. Or at least that's how I see it.

DAZ still chews up my computer... I dunno, I'm just not a 3D person... Anyhow, where'd you get the shirt? Or how would you make one? or how the hell do you use the new interface?! lol I liked the old one better, back when it was version... 1.
So err... is there any way to make 3d hair in DAZ? do you just take a primitive and texture it and whatnot?

Yeah it's hiro, completely morphed and customed though using some advanced options XD
And I downloaded the shirt for free on the DAZ forum, it's called something 'love' shirt. Not sure, it's free though X3
I personally don't make them but rather paint over a basic once, about 80% to 90% is painted after all :3
And I got used to the new interface pretty quickly, you use the first screen to up items and equip them, change textures and whatever. The second screen is the advanced posing screen, you can use some basic morphs in the paramaters (or something like that) screen to shape the character. Generally I make them (somewhat) more realistic and the rest I change in photoshop :3
And hair is loaded just like other objects, there's a special folder for hair but sometimes they're added to the characters folder >.<
And no biggie, I figured it out on my own so you should be able to as well. No problem in helping others get a program down just a bit faster right? X3

As for who. Well, there's this character from my (still in-progress) book, he's the vocalist for the band known as Garutachi (Or Garutachi No Gundan, roughly means Army of Partners in Crime) ^_^

Description (lol, can anyone tell this is my favourite character?):
Name: Jibrail Dyment
Hair/Eyes: Cherry-red hair/Bright green eyes (pale skin)
Hairstyle: Just a normal shoulder length/short in front jagged haircut :3
Clothes: He usually wears casual unless he's on stage. Said outfit consists of a worn faded white T-shirt with 'Hello my name is: F*ck you
Personality: Prankster, pretty much always cheerful and though usually very childish, he can be very responsible and mature...when he wants to.
Other information:
He's addicted to strawberries, especially strawberry flavoured slushies.
Has a weird habit of calling people by a generic name, his driver/butler/bodyguard is called 'Freddy' most of the time while the poor man's name is in fact Jerome Reeves. Said man looks like a rugged Hell's Angel club member but somehow manages to squeeze himself into a tuxedo when he's driving the private limo. Is often refered to as 'Jibby' by the more bold people XD
Specific enough description of said character? If not, his original design is still in my gallery, he had short hair then and can only be partially seen XD

It's a (free) 3D animation studio ^_^
Generally I make stuff by rendering a basic image and painting over that image.
With DAZ you get to position a body the way you want it and add stuff to said body (or object for that matter). Like playing with virtual dolls XD
I used to draw stuff but since I'm a law-student nowadays with one heck of a busy schedule, rendering is easier and faster XD

Be sure to get Aiko 3 (anime like character) and Micheal 3(semi-realistic male). If they're still free that is XD
Well, they should be. If not there's several websites where you can (legally) download them for free, including Hiro 3 (the male Aiko and the one I tend to use) X3
