Edit: full size for maximum crispnessMan... this was fun. I forgot how much I love drawing ZOIDS. Moar plz.
So wanted a pic of his robotic raptor, which he described as looking a bit like the Berzerk Fury, only with several differences. One of which being a flat back so he is ridable (rider sold seperately). Also, humanlike eyes and panels for the concealment of many weapons and misc.
I'm pretty happy with how this came out, hope you like it ^__^ I know you said to obscure the knee joints, but I couldn't help it. Gotta have those ZOIDS gubbins.

*laughs*Β So, as a nitpick, he's not supposed to BE a Zoid, just inspired by them.Β I gave a direct reference to one because the last two times I've commissioned people to draw this character, they've ignored the whole 'angular plates' bit and composed him almost entirely of cylinders, to my increasing frustration.Β And with that out of the way...

yeah, the shield liger is a bit lame... I still liked the toy though, with the deployable missile launchers. The blade liger toy fell appart all the time I think.

So it's essentially a Berserk Fury Custom. Β Ehhhhhhhhhh been playing alot of zoids recently and aside from Zoids Vs. i don't use it it's made of weaksauce though that might not be it's fault more like the programmers having a grudge.

Wonder if I could coax you into playing Zoids Legacy :L if nothing else it has a metric tonne of zoids to play with and choose from. (right now im running Shield Liger DSC Snipe Master Red Horn and Iron Kong no zerker Furys yet though i have a hunch im gonna pass on it in favor of other zoids)

That is the game I have finished the most times out of any games ever. I even did some pictures of my final team in the most recent run. Yeah, command wolf all the way!

Heh, that reminds me, on Bounty Hounds Online, one of the CTUs (Combat Tactical Unit, which are robots that are supposed to resemble certain animals) you could have were a Raptor. A Thunderbolt (Thunderbolts specializes in Ranged Damage)
Though the one I preferred are supposed to resemble a Scorpion. A SteelBlade (basically the same, but Melee instead)

I created my own Zoid, much like in Zoids Chaotic Century when Van's Shield Liger became the first ever Blade Liger. Β I have a Rev Raptor that turns into a Flame Raptor. Β At least back in middle school that was my thing. XD;
