Description
Here's Descarian, one of my centaur city guards, at a variety of ages.Β Des grew up in one of the smaller towns outside the city walls, but close enough that he saw the guards and their patrols often enough to idolize them. Obviously, he achieved his dream and joined them as soon as he was old enough (although he was just a guard at age 24, not a lieutenant yet). And yes, he was one of those very blond kids whose hair gradually darkened over the years.
Anyway, this came about due to a case of good timing. I was debating what to draw next, and randomly mentioned wanting to see one of my Medani centaurs in something like an age meme, so I decided to give it a go. I think it turned out pretty well. ^^

I never did get around to doing Races of Medan for the satyrs and mermaids... I'm not sure when I'll get to them. They still need a little more thought put into them.

i just love the way you draw your centaurs, something about it just makes it look right rather than an awkward combination

Thank you. ^_^ I think it helps not to think of it as drawing the human part and then the horse part, but instead thinking of them as a whole being, if that makes sense.
