In the original novel of 'The Hunchback Of Notre Dame ' written by Victor Hugo, Clopin was supposed to have died at the end,killed by the Kings soldiers. He was also supposed to have a scythe.Whilst re watching Pirates of the Caribbean-Curse of the Black Pearl...I came upon this quote....
