how do you make the ducttape head base before you put the foam on?

okay I have a question I know you're supposed to get a head cover mast thingcand then put the fome on are you supposed to put anything else on it besides fome and the tape and then take the tape off for the pattern and then put the fur on or is that it

well right now i am not taking any fursuit commissions because i need more practice. but if you would just want a plain head no moving jaw or follow eyes it would be $350. But again i wont be open until january

draw the markings on the tape and cut it off so you have a pattern for the fur.
