I like the pin-up one more, but this one is also very beautiful and portrays a very prominent social problem I think we all go through in one way or another, female or otherwise.
Not even so much beauty, but the intense feeling of inadequacy, the unfair reality of the world demanding more of you, it not being enough to just be yourself, society screaming for conformity as we strive to stand out as individuals.
The true tragedy of such a vain society is the beauty of a real body goes to the wayside, while the blandest, most uninteresting symbols of beauty are placed on their pillars, neither adding to or subtracting from society's misguided view of physical beauty...
Not even in that corny "beautiful on the inside" way... but the irony of losing what makes the human body beautiful, by polishing it to a mirror shine, to better match some archaic, majority opinion of what's attractive, losing all the character...

I just love this! Maybe you know, but the german magazin "Brigitte" (buyer around 30-50+) is stopping showing thin models. ummm, in the last issue my mom bought was a pretty bikini model...well, she "tried" to present the bikini... with boobs smaller as an A cup -_- lol?

I love the comparison of the model - or the 'standard', as some call it - versus the woman with real proportions. It not- so-subtly points out the seeming obsession of society - or just the media - with what they think woman should look like.
