Description
Second part of a triptych, after "FEMME" [link] , for a website contest whose subject was "Pin Up". [link]Line was partly done by a good friend of mine: Bastien Vives [link] .September 2004.

I love this pic, but it just doesn't ring true at all. I met my fiance on a Tomb Raider message board. We have an entire shelf full of Lara Croft action figures, and at least one figurine of her likeness in every room in the house. And having spent about 10 years in this community, I would say that at least 50% of the male Tomb Raider fans are gay, and about 25% of fans of this series are female.
Even as a horny teenager in the late 90's, I played these game because they were good games, not because of the sexy main character, in spite of the chuckles this inspired from people who "knew" the "real" reason why I defended the series. Of course, there were plenty of examples of 3rd person action games with sexy female protagonists in them from this period, and almost all of have fallen into obscurity. Space Bunnies Must Die, anyone? Drakan? Danger Girl? D.I.R.T.? Urban Chaos?Β

The guy is messed up in the head. He has a mostly naked hot woman on his bed, and he's putting up a Laura Croft poster. I mean really everyone knows that you put up the poster once the girl is dressed and gone.

Hi !
I draw with my hand and my brain on paper... ^^ I use Photoshop 6 for coloring and editing stuff.
... I'm 36 and I draw everyday since I'm 6. that's all I can tell about the "how?".

There is allot of well thought placement going on here, the male elevated by the ladder, over the woman on the bed. He's touching the poster as he's leaning away from the real woman, Lora's triumphant pose with her absurdly proportioned body, pointing her gun at the woman's head. The way it all flows together, is quiet brilliant.

That just shows how stereotypical some men can be. Most men see women as a toy or an object that they can ogle as they see them as 'beautiful'. When the sad truth is that it doesn't matter on how the person looks it is actually the person on the inside. The true person. Not a fake imitation of beauty.

I've lost track of all the women at personals sites who insist that you must be 5'9" or taller date them.

Honestly, those sites are sad. People have become stereotypical for this day and age. They have become too superficial for ones that actually truly stand out become forgotten and dimmed. I hate it, but I am thankful I found a guy that loves me for the real me and not one of those men that believe in that stereotypical beauty that you see in every ad and show. I know he had told me the same that I am not stereotyping him because he has been told that he is not that good looking, but honestly he is very handsome and well honestly sexy. He is only about one inch taller than I am. I am 5'9" - 10" and I don't care how tall he is. Even if he was shorter I would still love him. I have grown tired of this society.
I just can't wait and see when they can finally open their eyes and see that their vision of perfect could be their downfall. I love that old saying. Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes to the bone. You might be beautiful on the outside, but you can't see what is below that until you truly get to know the person.

"You're a good person, and that's all that matters," rings false. No one actually cars if you're a good person. Being a good person isn't going to get you a job or a date.
I honestly believe that if I were born a woman I would have an easier time finding love. Both of my older sisters were married by the time they were my age.
