Love the color choices! Did you use a plastic bag again for some textures?

Sure XD. It was my first use of plastic bag but I liked the patter so much that I was afraid to do something with it so left for later. But then I've got idea to turn it into flowers so I did . Colours are so toned because I wanted it to be background. But applying new layers I added some different tints to make it more insteresting but not changing the palette . So glad you like it !

It looks like you pressed real flowers into it
I know there is some pressing going on of course,
but using the pressed structures to inspire the blossoming of these petals is so cool.
And the tones remind me of true pressed flowers half forgotten between the pages of books hehe.
Have you ever seen the book of brian froud with its pressed fairies by the way?

No I never heard about. Just checked and wow I love his works! He uses colours so skilfully! I must take a closer looks at his works. Thank you for letting me know about him . He reminds me a bit artworks by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law but his are darker.

But fairies pressed between pages of book? Sounds sadistic! Cool XD. Now you awoked this "bad" part of my creative brain XD.

His illustrations entranced me since I was a little girl XD
My mother had his most famous book 'Faeries' which was illustrated together with Alan Lee.

It is like a bestiary of faeries haha.

He has been also the conceptial designer for Labyrinth, Dark Crystal and The storyteller.
All those cooool muppets!
And yes it sounds bad huh, smashed fairies ...
The girl in the book also feels bad at first.
It kinda happened by accident that the first one got smashed.
But apparently it is just and imprints on the pages that is left behind.
They just jolly wander off afterward.

I'm going to print some his artworks to analyze them. I think I could learn a lot from them! I'm so happy you let me know!

Jaram się ! Świetna , przytłumiona ciemna kolorystyka ! Tak jakbyś malowała kawą , herbatą i hibiskusem ... właśnie zrób tak kiedyś ^^( Jeśli chcesz oczywiście ) . Zwłaszcza ta róża ci pięknie wyszła , wyrazista mimo takiej palety barw . Gj !

Genialne!

Thank you . Frankly that was my first try with plastic bag. I wanted to use it for background for Familly Moments prompt (this with little cats), but it was too structured so I left it for later and in the end I turned into flowers making use of ready shapes as flower petals .

Thank you . So nice to hear so! I started from abstract and then started finding in it shapes. It looked for me like flowers so I turned it into flowers . That was really relaxing finding these shapes there .

I love it when you see it come together as you draw it!! Not knowing what it'll be until it's done is a really thrilling and relaxing experience imo!
