I like this a lot because there can be so many different meanings to it. Is the change painful for the person? Are they changing for the better or the worse? I ask that because of the way the colors seem to fade out of them. Or the colors could be flowing into them. Either way works. My hat's off to you for being able to do this with pen and ink. Thank you for sharing it.

SO true. When I was submitting this, I was so worried about getting it scanned etc. then dA says "title" and I'm thinking "well shit what do I call this?" (I had been putting off the title and thinking only of the process and conveying the mood of the piece properly.) My husband who really liked it said that [the title] is only for you to decide. I was thinking "Changeling" and cut it to simply "Change" because Changeling seemed to play up the fantasy/surrealism too much. Thank you so much for looking, letting it provoke your thoughts and ultimately I really appreciate taking the time to comment and share your thoughts. I'm glad what I set out to do translated. Your comment is a such a compliment.

"well shit what do I call this?" Haha! I've been there before. It's hard to come up with titles sometimes.
I agree that "Changeling" does drift into the fantasy realm too much for this piece. Change suits it so much better. It translated so well because of your skill. You're welcome.
