It's been a while having a yellow-eyed Shockwave since G1. Energon had a green-eyed one, and TFA, the Michael Bay Pentalogy, and TFP all had a red-eyed one. This is the second one to have a yellow eye, and not only that, in the show, it has an extra eye! How cool is that? He also got his magenta accents back since G1.

I like this new Shockwave's design, and I look forward to seeing how he'll be portrayed in Cyberverse when it begins on TV. By the way, what do you think of Cyberverse so far? Have you seen the recent previews of it?

Yeah, I saw one that I posted about on my tumblr. The animation looked a lot simpler than TFP or even RID's, but it's pretty decent. The dialog was a bit cringey, especially Bumblebee's but I guess I could get used to it.

I agree the animation is pretty well done, and I too had doubts about Bumblebee's dialog at first. But it has been mentioned that he lost his memory, so I guess it makes sense why he was acting the way he was in the Cartoon Network preview. Are there any characters you're interested in seeing the most in Cyberverse? Shockwave as I mentioned earlier, I'll be keeping an eye out for, and I'm also looking forward to seeing Grimlock too.

Well, all the main known autobots and deceptions will be present, I'm interested to see Slipstream, whom I bet it's gonna become a rival to Windblade. Arcee doesn't seem present, but I remember seeing that Comic con footage that had Megatron talking, and behind him looked what I assume was her.

Yeah, I think that was Arcee behind Megatron too, and I like the idea of Slipstream and Windblade as rivals. I wonder if something similar will happen between Slipstream and Starscream like in Animated.

Have to say, not a big fan with what they did in making Shockwave look like he has an angry expression on his face. Shockwaveβs whole deal is that he has no emotions.

Well I'm guessing his eye is going to be able to move around more, given that it's going to be 2d animated series, and and it's going to be animated by a studio known of their very dynamic, cartoony yet fluid animation.
