During the summer months in Colorado's Rocky Mountain National Park, bull Elk gather together and sunbathe on the alpine tundra. Here, one relaxes taking in the sun surrounded by wildflowers. Still docile, that changes weeks later (now, actually( as the annual rut begins and they move to lower elevations, rounding up their harems.
