Very pretty! I thought about getting Reality but decided against it for now as I don't have patience and 4 hours+ per render would probably drive me nuts lol Though I see all the patience pays off though just sadly I don't possess any lol Very nicely done!

Thanks Ann!!! Whenever I run a render I know is going to take hours, I usually try to do it overnight. Like you I don't have the patience to let one run while I'm awake. I want to see the results and I want to see them now!!! LOL Overnight renders for Reality.

Very nice. How many scans/pixel did you let it go?

You would ask that....I have no idea, I just let it run until I was happy with it, about 4 hours.

Heh... It's at the bottom of the screen. It's on the left if you've just started it and let it run. It'll show the time it's been rendering, then the s/p (scans per pixel).

If you stop it and then restart it later, the total number of scans per pixel will be on the right hand side of that string of numbers.

For what it's worth, it usually will take at least 700 s/p to have a good image. That's according to Paolo, the guy who runs Reality, I guess...

Looks like it was 747 s/p when I stopped it. I don't pay a lot of attention to it, just when it looks good to me, I stop it.

It's sort of interesting. The image I've got going right now is about 200 scans/pixel, and it looks good already, but still a bit noisy. Sometimes, though, it's taken 1400-1600 s/p to look good. I'm not sure why, either...
