Description
The core drill that Simon finds at the beginning of the series. It is used as key to activate Lagann.

This was challenging to make, as the spiral cut into the cone had to be uniform in depth, so it had to taper inwards from bottom to top at the same angle as the cone's surface.

Getting the green glow from within was also difficult as the drill section had to be transparent enough to let the green light to show through without being able to see anything else.
