I've wanted to do a nuzlocke comic for a really really long time now and some of you might remember the sad attempt I made a few years ago. TL;DR that story just wasn't working. I actually replayed the game in 2015 and documented it a little more carefully. I fleshed out a more in depth backstory and had fun with world building shenanigans. So I'm cautiously optimistic about this.

I do have a small buffer of pages already completed to ensure somewhat regular updates but these projects take time so I just ask that you all be patient with me. Now without further ado, here's Clockwork Lullaby, a Soul Silver nuzlocke.

Rules

1. If a pokemon faints in-game it's dead and can't be used again

2. Only catch the first pokemon you see per area (a gifted pokemon counts as your first encounter of that area)

a) towns/cities count as new areas

3. Nickname all your pokemon

4. Dupes clause (if your first encounter is a pokemon from the same evolutionary line as one you already have you cannot catch it and have two more tries to catch a new pokemon) -> Ex: you've caught a Spearow on a previous route but the first thing you run into in a later area is a Fearow... you can't catch the Fearow. Go look for something else.

5. Player cannot trade to evolve pokemon

6. Legendary pokemon may not be caught

7. Shiny pokemon are exempt from rule #2
