Part of a series of Robot designs I've been working on for various stories. This one is some sort of hunter-killer type droid.

I've been shooting lots of videos on inking so I'm sort of obsessed with line weights. Getting more into thick curvy ones again. This piece was inked from loose pencils and most of the actual drawing and design was done on the fly in the inking stage. Went back in after and added a bunch more thick to thin lines. Gray tone added in Photoshop. I've found some fun techniques for making gradient dot patterns. Wish I had more time to do tutorials.
