Actually the tatoos are quite accurate. A bit off, but still very similar. You're good.

Yes you've done an excellent job with the Bleach characters. Who can I expect next?

And again, fskin brilliant! 2 quick questions:
1. Can you use these models outside of Zbrush once they're done? i.e. can you rig them and animate them in another program like 3DS Max?
2. Have you tried using the painting tools on Zbrush? Would be cool to see one of these models in full colour

In addition to what Soulburned mentioned:
1. The poly count would be overkill and not practical. Most of my Zbrush sculpts are in the 8-12 million poly and that's just the bust. What most people do is export the lowest subdivision and use normal maps or displacement maps to regain the details.
2. This was actually the first model I used the painting tools. It was use to make the tatoos.

Ah right, thanks again for the pointers. I've probably learned more about character modelling from asking you and reading your blogs (especially the Gattsu one) than I did in months of trawling the web.
Incidentally, loving the touch up. The texture on his jacket is superb. You FTW!

It's actually pretty easy to export from Zbrush to another package, but from the posts it looks like these are only busts and not full body models so there wouldn't be much to animate or rig, however it would be perfect for close-up shots that need facial animation. I would really love to see Renji with his soul slayer! Great work Kahn!

Cool, asking mainly for my own work since I've just started using Zbrush. But thanks for the advice anyway.
Still got a loooooooong way to go before I'm anywhere near as good as this sort of stuff though ^_^
