Was about to post on FB, but figured it was more suitable here
A. Super psyched to see you posting stuff
B. First thought: The lil horns and eyes reminded me of candy corn xD I'm sure, only 'cause of the time-o-year
C. This is super amazing and the face holds great depth, as well as catches a nice mid-ground between realism and comic work.
However, the eyes seemed to fall a bit flat of that aspect. I think they are lacking some of the darker depths the rest of the face has....

I have become determined to post more of my stuff, and try to let myself be more loose with my work (meaning I really need to try to not make myself all stressed out about it. Art looks stiff when I do that.)
I love the character's candy corn horns, they were really fun to color. Actually, I'm pretty sure the troll's horns were purposely designed to look like candy-corn.
I was wondering if anyone would notice that. To be honest, I did get lazy with the eyes. Mostly because I had a hard time getting him to look in the direction that I wanted him to. I started with him looking in a random direction and finished the piece with them still looking in that direction. Then, when I was about to submit it, I decided that looked strange...so I quickly redid it. So yeah, I might go back to fix it, but I'll leave it as is for now.
