So I can't believe I actually pulled this off. I finally finished my drawing of La Muerte, from the Book of Life, who is by far the most beautifully animated character I have ever seen, ever. Major kudos for the animation team who brought her to life. She has so many little details on her but when she moves everything moves so fluidly. If you haven't seen this movie you are really missing out, its pure eye candy, and the story is creative and heart warming. While I was adding all the tiny details I couldn't help but think of my grandfather who is an artist as well. He painted this huge portrait years ago of the Virgin Mary looking over an entire village. I remember all he little details in it, and that was a painting so if you messed up, good luck fixing it, lol. So I want to dedicate this picture to my Grandpa Milian, I'm sure my aunts and uncles will show it to him ♥
