It looks great, nicely drawn and well shaded! My suggestion, would be to focus a little more on the lighting, focusing on how it reflects off her hair and body (adding a little more white and medium dark shading to the right side of her hair, towards the light, and contrasting down to black on the darker side). I noticed a response to the black under her chin, and even though a lighter shade may be appropriate, a dark shade under a characters chin; especially when they're head is lowered, can accent and give off a really nice effect, so don't be discouraged!

Once again, Helluva job! I haven't seen the original, but you've got the style down pretty good!

but shouldn't the colour of the shadow under her chin be more of a dark brown instead of black?
