Description FINALLY!!! Dang, I thought it'd be faster, easier to draw the city and color this pic in Photoshop-NOT!!!! >.< I keep making the mistake of assuming Photoshop is faster and easier. Isn't that the definition of insanity? (doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results) Well, anyway, here's an illustration based on "Testament". Streetwise is befuddled by his new assignment so he goes to his commander for ideas and advice.

The story, 'Testament' was supposed to be a relatively short story but um, someone fed the muse and it developed into a book. (ooops) A friend of mine asked me to write a story on how Rusti came to be under Op's & Roddi's custody-and she asked that I involve the Protectobots somehow since at the time there was no fanfiction that involved them.

Do not feed the muse.

Oh, and I took a bit of creative license; I didn't like how Hotspot's forearms looked. >.<

Now this is my kind of G1 picture with some Protectobots and good scenery. You did a pretty nice effort on drawing + colouring in Streetwise and Hot Spot his arms are interestingly crossed.
Also I like the way did the background with the city, cars, and hello Swoop!
Very nice picture!

Thank you so very much! I'm tickled that you recognized Swoop Stuck him in there for good measure. At least the Protectobots aren't half the headache Dinobots are. At some point I want to illustrate the scene where Groove hugs a bomb. He's a ham!

My pleasure!

Hehe It reminded me of the book "Where's Wally?" if you know what I'm talking about.

Yes Protectobots are pretty smart and good sparked. As for the Dinobots I guess that's how they were born.

If you do plan to do that I will be looking forward to it mainly reason is because it's Protectobot and want to see your take on Groove's design! all the best!

Photoshop only makes things easier in the sense that you don't have to go buy paints or clean up once you are done. It's still just has hard as the real thing, imo. ^_^ And if you are an artistic novice like me, then its also nice to be able to take back the million mistakes you inevitably make.

...I still need to finish reading Testament....XD

Sometimes you have to some creative license on drawing them. Over 6 weeks I have taken some creative license on Elita, no she is not done. I loved the shoes in the photo I used as my model and incorporated them into her Quite an interesting Statue of Liberty will be posted if I ever finish it!

I am sooo jeolous of your beautiful city scape backgrounds. I attempt to make a backdrop like that and end up giving up on it in the end I need some type of Cybertronian landscape for Ms. -1 lol

Ah, the Cybertronian landscapes! yeah, not my forte, either. The background in 'Council' is supposed to be a part of Fort Max. It took a lot of work to do just that itty bitty bit. 0.o But I'm tickled it still pleased you! ^-^ You might consider 'snitiching' a screen cap and incorporating it into your work, Maddog.

I am excited to see how your Elita turns out!

I'm afraid I am about to go overboard on her detail, but want to keep her somewhat close to G1. I kinda went and just took every G1 style pic (comic books, screencaps etc) and made her, but with a more "toned down" pink.

I might have to go with the screencap idea, or at least grab one as a reference like I do with photos. I love using photos for my femmes Makes it easier to figure out my "stick doll's" limb movement to build armor on.

I got home 20 minutes ago(its 6:13am) and so I don't think I will wake up in three hours to do my Breeders Cup simulcast betting at the track. Sad day I guess that means I get to buy coffee on Sunday though!

COFFEE!!!!! God created coffee just for people like us!

I love Illmatar's version of Elita. She looks practical, not weird or prissy. I still have issues with Elita-one, however. From the get-go, all I could think about was "a female Optimus Prime? Eeeewwee!!!"

I probably have fangirl jealousy, too. She can't have him cuz he's mine! *shakes a loaded ink pen at Elita One*

I like your idea of the toned-down pink. There's a nice rose shade that's pretty tolerable. Dusted rose, I think it a good description. Hot Pink goes better on that goofy Becki character-and her snail pee green dress. ewwe.

Coffee is the nector of the Gods, it is a lifeline

I never liked the pink statue of liberty with a manly voice and besides Illmatar's awesome upgrade on her, most seem to make her look pretty week. I like the pose I picked for, definately one she would not pull unless in the privacy of her quarters with her sparkmate

Illmatar's work on Elita gave me some semblance of respect for her. At least her Elita was not a female Op dressed in gaudy pink with a similar personality. I love how Rodimus respects her in Hell's Alliance. I think it's a sad fact that Trion raped her.

In the cross-over, however, seeing Elita will give Rusti a complex until Op pulls her aside and explains to her that the Elita there isn't *his* Elita; and that he doesn't need Elita when he has Rusti.

Whew! Fanfiction can get complicating!
