Description A lot of you know my good friend , and some of you know about her beloved baby who died from a mysterious disease. No words can ever express how bad you feel for somebody, so I thought maybe some paint could speak how my heart feels for her.

Thanks. I'm really glad that she likes it. I'm always afraid to paint somebody or an animal and have the person be like, "he or she looks NOTHING like the painting!"

They are the first eyes that looked like they had pink in them

I cannot believe you did this for me. It was such an incredibly touching gesture and such a sweet rendition of my beloved girl that I cried and I tear up when I look at this gorgeous piece, but you can rest assured I am smiling through my tears, because it is so precious that I just can't believe it. Neither can Brian. He was flabbergasted. "She painted that for us??" he gasped. "Yes, can you believe it??" I said. We both are honored and touched beyond words. Thank you so very, very much, this will indeed help heal our wounded hearts as we look at it every day on our wall and smile as we think of our girl looking so adorable, healthy and happy. What a great way to remember her every day. Thank you thank you thank you

I'm glad that B is just as touched, I never expect men to be as sensitive to loss and art and all the hands on things that women are. You are both very loved. You know that if I were close by I would have rushed to your side on that day with lots of ice cream and tissues.

Have you used the ones with Vic's in them? My allergies have been acting up and they are actually very nice

I actually dont like the tissues with stuff in them but Brian does. He uses a Puffs brand that has a moisturizer in it. I need dry, hard tissues when I cry/get a cold. So we get the fancy stuff for B's delicate nose, and I just use plain toilet paper. When KiKi died, I used up an entire 24 pack of TP in just a few days.

I was afraid of the fur, but I think I managed. Maybe one day I'll paint Kes! (but not as a memorial. You know what I mean)
