if by drawing you mean actual drawing starting with blank canvas then you shouldn't really care about my opinion, which is 'go for it' by the way.
people who use my photos as stock images (to put more photoshop) should and will go to hell. that's my opinion.

I always sketch/paint/draw...I only use photoshop to add a bit of texture to my drawings that I don't have time to paint.....will enjoy seeing what you will no doubt continue to do.....so well!!
