Yes, yes I did indeed make a Grell pony

Ok so you see, I had an extra Fluttershy I got to make a Kya, but I didn’t like her eyes. So I bought a Pinkie/Sweetiebelle set to use Pinkie’s head (yes my Kmart has everything G4 EXCEPT the single boxed ponys. GO FIGURE!), but that left me the Pinkie body and Fluttershy head. So I started thinking and thought that Flutter’s eyes looked sorta like Grell’s so I was like “ZOMR GRELL PONY!!!” so I did it.

I sculpted the hair; I so rarely sculpt hair because I have no confidence in my ability to, but this turned out so good! It’s not exactly what I was trying to mimic, but I love it! Pain in the butt to paint but I love it. The head does not move sadly (because of the hair) but that’s ok. I also sculpted up/out the mouth so I could give him the crazy teeth; it’s a little rougher than I’d’ve liked, but it’s nothing you notice and the grin looks awesome.

He was given a FBR in a custom color; I was going for something red, but not too pink. His symbol’s a red handled chainsaw for obvious reasons I did paint his eyes a gold because I’m still convinced they’re more gold than green…HOWEVER the highlights are a greenish-gold tint, and I really love his eyes. I guess Flutter’s eyes repainted I like, just not Flutter’s…I’m strange XD;; And I gave him eyebrows! You know that AJ’s the only one with eyebrows? I find that strange, but I think they add to Grell’s expression here. He was also fully sealed with satin sealer-I think the red paint makes it shinier for some reason.

His glasses I made from packaging plastic cut out into glasses shape and then I painted the frames; I left the sides clear so you could still see his face. They’re sealed too.

His tail is hair from a $Tree wig (not headband), so it doesn’t style, but since I had to bake him with the tail in, but it’s more manageable and very soft, so it’s cool.

I love my Grell pony He is not for sale though folks, sorry.
