For those of you who haven't read the FOE: Project Horizons story (which is probably a lot of you) P21 (the blue dude) and Blackjack (lil miss saddypants) have always had a strained friendship, but a shared history. Blackjack tends to deal with all the horrible things in the world by pretending eveything's okay and breaking down later.
I wanted to visit a scene like that. Where P21 wakes in the night and finds Blackjack outside. She says she's fine. They both know she isn't.

So thanks to Robert for commissioning this one, and to Anime everywhere for their wonderful background style inspiration (seriously, the stuff they do is amazing).
