I like the lighting in the backround. the windows are blown out but the painting, the chairs maintain detail.
But whats the photo trying to say? whats the story to the photo? was it a fashion portrait for an ad. glamour, or just emo.

I love how the focus is towards where the model seems to be looking). This gives us an outside look at her view and at the same time leaves the model shrouded in darkness and blur. This makes her seem very mysterious and draws our vision to her rather than the in-focus area.

Simply amazing balance and color use here. Excellent DOF; it keeps it mysterious. You want so bad to see the figure in the front and wonder what is so important around the corner that takes presedence over her. I love this.

and I think having an obsucre focus or angle is fantastic. It's always good to think outside the box and make the viewer actually look at the picture and study the little details instead of brushing by it. The lighting in the background and empty seats really add on to this greatly
